Great Idea

Isn't this a great idea? How many times have you wanted a tripod for your camera but don't want to lug one around?

I saw this Water Bottle Tripod in the Parade Magazine on Sunday. I found it here.

And, my baby Simon, has graduated to a booster seat that uses the seatbelt in the car instead of a 5 point harness. Where have the last 4 years gone?

I have never had a car that had the LATCH system on it but our current van does. It was slick to be able to tether down the booster so it doesn't move at all. I guess I don't need to use the latch & the booster seat but since they both are there and don't effect the seat, I will use them both. Better to have everything strapped to the car!

    Referring to the kids in thongs discussion, I saw a shirt in a kids clothing store yesterday that had a burger, fries, and shake on it....and the text said, 'do you want some fries to go with that shake?'

    I don't think 6-8 year old girls need to be wearing a t-shirt that says that! They probably don't even get it.

    Love the water bottle tripod, I don't seem to ever think, wow, I wish I had a tripod with me. Though my camera does go everywhere with me.

    And your baby is no longer in a 5 point harness! It's just amazing how quickly they grow.
