It took me nearly two months of solid knitting to finish this shawl and I gotta tell you, I am about sick of it!
Here she is pre-blocked.
Close up of the feathers in the preblocked stage.
Taking a bath.
Pinned out in my bedroom.
A full length finished shot.
Here is a close up of the edging with beads.
Now I have to figure out a new project to knit until my Sock Swap yarn arrives. Oh well, I have to finish sewing bags today so...that should take up most of my knitting time.

She's beautiful. You may be sick of it -- but she'll look perfect around my (I mean your) shoulders! I believe I may start mine in July -- I have promised to make one for my LYS (in exchange for yarn money).
2 Months? It would've taken anyone else a year. At least! You should be proud. That is a beautiful shawl!
It is so beautiful Sarah!! Were the beads hard to place? You do such wonderful work.
Sarah that is just stunning! I can't believe it only took 2 months.
Michelle from Knitalittle here,
Way to go, great job. Icarus looks wounderful. I love the color. :)
Work it! Work it! Nice, Sarah. Love the color too!
Wow...............I'm speachless, it's beautiful.
It looks gorgeous - I can't believe you've finished it so quickly - it was such a little thing the last time I saw it!
WOW! she's beautiful!!!!!! I love the rich color sarah!
I really like the finished look this shawl has. I have yet to try lace work...I have purchased my lace weight baby alpaca but am still a little nervous when it comes to picking out what pattern to start on. I just adore this shawl. The color you chose just makes the pattern pop. Congrats on a job well done! C-ya!
Wow - beautifully done! My Icarus is still sitting on time out - waiting for me to get back to it. So at least you've accomplished something and actually have an FO!! Whoo hoo for FO's!! It really is beautiful, and that color works very well for it.

Oh, my gosh it is beautiful! I had just decided to add this to my list, and now it may have to move ahead of a few other items. The beads in the edging add a special touch.
I love it. The color is just great.
