Monday

Orange for project spectrum. Aloe flowers in the back yard.

We tie dyed at Hannah's school on Friday. Each class has a different color so that you can tell the difference on field trips for each class.

Here they are before rinsing with all the rubber bands.

It took me over 30 minutes to cut off all the rubber bands and then did another rinse.
One of the finished products. As you can see, the color still bled and I used a lot of salt to try and get that Rit dye to set.
Ah well, they will still look good on the kids.
And on another note, David started a new job today. He is so excited to be out of the house again...he realized that although working out of the house has its positives, he really like the physical aspects of getting up, putting on a suit and LEAVING THE HOUSE. Um...I like having the house back to myself too, if the truth be told. ;)
