Fabric Fortune Cookie's

First, I am going to apologize for the evening photos with a bad flash!

I was going to make a fabric bowl for the sew along but wasn't in the mood to cut strips and mess with it tonight so instead I made fabric fortune cookies.

First step, cut out two squares and sew together.
Then use your pinking shears to cut around it. My pinking shears are from a lady that lived down the hall from my Grandparent's in Aurora, CO.
She gave them to me about 20 years ago because she knew I sewed and thought I would appreciate having a nice pair of shears. I treasure them.
So, the pinked edges.
Folded, sewed and flipped. The first one was tiny...too small as you can see on the right. The second one is much better and a good size.
Two finished ones!

I am not that great of a sewer to follow along here. LOL. Do you have written out instructions you could pass along to me? Thanks Sarah. These are really cute!
