My "Help" with Sewing

I had visions of getting to Joann's yesterday afternoon but it did not pan out so.....I dug out the remnants I had in my fabric stash. Ironically, this is pretty much my fabric stash.
I cut out 4 more bags for small knitting projects. I had tried a bunch of different things last week, including a pencil with a string in the radius of my circle but finally settled on a saucer instead. Very easy to draw around that hard edge.
Now you will see how Simon "helped" me yesterday. That is where he stood for most of the time I was sewing.
And when his face wasn't almost stuck to the machine, he was busy putting his hand on the spinning circle on the end or trying to push the button for back stitching.
I stopped when I had done all the sewing before having to pin the whole thing together. I also put a top stitch edge around the top & bottom of the "barrel" edge on the turquoise bag I made last week.
I will do that during nap time today.

Really cute pics. Looks like my kids when I'm sewing or trying to sew.

Great photos! I absolutely love little Simon sticking his head almost right into the sewing machine, he seems absolutely fascinated by what you're doing!
Did he already ask to get a bit of sewing done by himself?

Oy vey with the kid and his face in the machine. Let me know if you want some fabric. I see the pretty new stuff you bought, but I have tons of fabric and I'd be happy to give some to you!
